and we're off

Hey-O!

Welcome to and in health, let's begin, shall we?

I'm kendra, an American bride to be who is newly engaged and ready to get buff. This blog will document my journey to buff-ness for my June 2011 wedding. It's a good 21 months out, but I say if we're going to get buff, let's do it for the long term, and not just to look like the super models that fashion the gowns we may {or may not} end up purchasing.

This blog will share fitness ideas, work out plans, eating ideas and some wedding eye candy. Please note that I am not a licensed nutritionist/dietitian/councilor/doctor/trainer. I do have a bachelors degree in dance, but am otherwise a self proclaimed foodie, fitness junkie and fan of living life to the fullest in the body that makes you the most radiant. Yep. This is me to you, likely we sit in the same shoes as a lay person who just wants to enjoy their bodies and be as healthy as one can be!

I like to write in lower case, and am not always the best speller. Forgive me.

oh yeah, and the name of the blog? In case you haven't figured it out, I fashioned it from a traditional wedding vow consisting of "in sickness and in health" .....

I, (Bride/Groom), take you (Groom/Bride), to be my (wife/husband), to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.

So let's do it! You ready?
