Very well said Tamara... life is full of challenges and they all start with how your mind chooses to handle each challenge and how you prioritise your priorities. “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”

“Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.” Put your health at the top physically and mentally. Be happy with who you are right now and look forward to becoming even better every day. Finally, have faith in yourself.xo Best Wishes. Briony

Hi there! something that I live by and that keeps me on track is "who lives in me" and I am only the steward of my body! one day I will face Him and have to watch a slide show of how I have treated what was generously given to me excuses aren't gonnna do it then so I keep that on my mind. we are to be so much more ~ keep in mind who we are and who we belong to."

Where to start? Am thinking you should start with foods...learn about them...find healthier alternatives. Find out which benefits 'your body' the most for a better long term outcome. I think if you learn more deeply about foods you become more conscious about what you eat...therefore improving not only your health but also your life & that of your families life!!
I mean you could start with exercise but in the end it's not going to do much without healthy eating habits.
Just my view :-)

Oh my. Those quotes are fantastic. I have to be honest and say that I probably need to know a few more quotes and Scriptures about caring for the body. I don't think this is one to go on your 'inspirational' sheet, but maybe a little post-it on the refrigerator: "I have never regretted turning down food." I actually say this to myself at nighttime when I'm exhausted and the kitchen is a mess. "I have never regretted cleaning the kitchen."

It probably sounds a little whacked .... but I drink hot water. As in, boiled from the jug, into my mug with a little dash of cold water. It was weird the first few times, but then became addictive. I love starting my day with it, and it's become a really easy way to still have a cuppa at someone's house without loading myself up with caffeine. To be honest, I genuinely prefer it to tea and coffee most of the time. And I've discovered quite a few friends drink it as well :-) It's a great, "Whaaaat!? You too!?" moment!
